We’, ‘us’, ‘our’ refers to the owner of this website and associated services, which is Robert Scott Publishing Limited and any trading names thereof. ‘You’, ‘your’ refers to the consumer and user of this website and associated services.

The material on this website is owned or licensed by Robert Scott Publishing Ltd. This material includes, but is not limited to, text, images, design, layout, graphics and style. Reproduction is prohibited except in accordance with copyright law.

You are advised to print and keep a copy of our Terms & Conditions at the point of ordering, as they may change without notification. Changes will take effect on the date posted online. Our Terms & Conditions will apply to all transactions on this website and are intended to comply with the guidelines set out in the Consumer Contracts Regulations. They do not affect your statutory rights under the Sale of Goods Act.


1) Ways to order

You can order online at, or telephone 01869 331741 (office hours 9am-5pm, Monday-Friday). You can also send orders via post using the order form found in your catalogue. A copy of the order form is downloadable here. Cheques should be made payable to Robert Scott Publishing Ltd.

All prices shown are VAT inclusive at the current rate of 20% (where applicable). If you live outside of the EC, or live in the Channel Islands, we can supply to you at VAT exclusive prices. Please telephone our order department with your order details, or email here. You can still order online, and contact us after to complete your transaction. We will then adjust the prices when processing your order.

If you live in the EC but have a valid VAT registration number, we can deduct VAT from your order total (excluding delivery charges) once your number has been supplied to us and verified.

After submitting your order our system will respond with an automated email to the address given during the ordering process. This email is an acknowledgement of your online order, and does not constitute acceptance of your order.

Please see our Privacy Policy for full details of how we use your data. We will never pass your details outside of our company, except where required to do so by law.


2) Delivery terms

UK - 1st class Royal Mail

Delivery charges are 3.95 for standard delivery (via Royal Mail First class) within the UK.We also offer next day delivery in the UK for 7.95. This is available Monday-Friday. Orders placed online on a Friday will be delivered on the following Monday (except bank holidays, where it will be delivered on the next working day). We use Royal Mail Special Delivery for this service. Please ensure that someone is available to sign for the delivery.

Subject to stock availability, we will despatch your order by the close of business on the following working day. Order cut-off times are currently 9am online and 1pm by telephone for same day despatch (subject to stock). This is subject to change without prior notification, and may vary with seasonal and business demands.

Where an item is bulky or heavy, the standard delivery charge is only applicable to mainland UK, and we reserve the right to make an additional charge where appropriate. You will be advised before we process your order, so that you can make an informed decision as to whether you would like to proceed.


All overseas orders calculate postage at the relevant Airmail rates. Some larger or more expensive items may incur higher charges, and may require a signature upon delivery. You may also incur customs/duty charges depending on where you live. You are responsible for these charges, and should seek advice before ordering.

We reserve the right not to fulfil overseas orders. This will be the case if we feel that the address given is not secure (in the instance of a PO Box address) or we have experienced difficulties with previous orders to that particular destination. We may also request that funds are paid via an alternative method, such as UK-drawn sterling cheque. We will contact you if this is applicable to your order.


3) Refunds/returns/exchanges

Photographic accessories (excluding software, CDs, DVDs and goods made to order)

If you wish to return an item, you have 30 days from the date shown on your receipt to do so. We will not refund the delivery charge you have paid when your order was placed, except in the circumstances where we have made an error.

You are responsible for all costs incurred in returning the item. You must take reasonable care of the item(s) whilst in your possession, and should also return any items in appropriate packaging so as to preserve their condition in transit. We will issue a refund within 5 working days of receipt of returned goods, subject to satisfactory inspection. Refunds will normally be made via the same method as original payment.

Software, CDs and DVDs

To qualify for a refund, software, CDs and DVDs must be returned in its original sealed packaging. This requirement is in accordance with the Consumer Contracts Regulations, and preserves the copyright of software developers. Your statutory rights under the Sale of Goods Act are not affected. Some of our Canon software packs are available to consumers only. If you need Canon software packs and you are a retailer or dealer please contact us for more information. Goods made to order

Goods made to order and to your specifications cannot be returned, exchanged or refunded. This includes personalised items, such as photographic prints or products which are customised with your name and/or images. Your statutory rights under the Sale of Goods Act are not affected.

Magazine subscriptions

Money-back guarantee: If you find that EOS magazine does not offer the advice and information you need, let us know within 28 days of receiving your first issue and we will refund your subscription fee in full (there is no need to return the magazine). If you have received a bonus item as part of your subscription offer (excluding back issues), this item must be returned to us before a refund is payable.


4) Card payments

Payments are taken at the time of ordering. Where you have ordered two or more items, if an item is out of stock, we reserve the right to split your order and send out the available item(s). You will only pay one delivery charge if we do this. If an out-of-stock item is due in within the next few days, we may hold your order to be able to send it all together. You will be advised when we process your order if any additional steps are necessary to despatch your order.

The name ‘EOS magazine’ will appear on your card statement.

We accept payments via Maestro, Solo, Visa (excluding Visa Electron), Mastercard and Amex. Payments are taken in pounds sterling, and will be converted by your card issuer at prevailing exchange rates.
