What we do

Getting your images right in-camera is important – it saves time, gets you better, more consistent results and gives greater satisfaction with your photography.

To do this, you need to know your EOS camera. Understand how it works, what the features do and how to use them for best results.

Since 1993 we've written exclusively about the Canon EOS system. In each issue, we'll explore a particular camera feature, explain how to use it and when not to use it. If your camera doesn't have that feature, we'll suggest alternative ways to do it.

EOS magazine covers every Canon EOS digital camera ever made, whether you own the first DSLR or the latest mirrorless model.

And every issue contains relevant, reliable information so you can get more from your camera. You're guaranteed a relevant read each issue, every time.

Who we are

We're a small, experienced team at EOS magazine – and are totally independent of Canon. Independent, but wholly committed fans! Canonites, if you will...

This means we don't talk about anything else. Boring, you may think, but our expert team really knows its stuff. And as we've grown up with the Canon EOS system since its launch in 1987, we've learnt a lot along the way. That's what we share with you.

Angela August, Editor, has been working for EOS magazine for 20 years. She's an experienced Editor and enthusiastic photographer. Nina Bailey is our current Technical Editor and, after working for Canon for 10 years, she set up her own training company teaching exclusively about Canon EOS cameras. Lastly, Robert Scott keeps us in check as Consultant Editor, having led the team for many years as both Publisher and Editor. He has a lifelong passion for photography and his knowledge knows no bounds.
