EF 28-105mm f3.5-4.5 II USM

introduced 2000

This lens is a successor to the EF 28-105mm f3.5-4.5 USM lens first marketed in 1992. It is a compact and lightweight lens giving good performance and a minimum focusing distance of 0.5 metre at all focal lengths. The high-quality optics and internal mechanical construction are similar to those of the earlier model, but there is a new exterior finish and zoom ring design to match the latest EF lens line-up. Key features include inner focusing (avoiding filter rotation) and a ring USM for near-silent, high-speed autofocusing.
