You are advised to print and keep a copy of our Terms and Conditions at the point of ordering, as they may change without notification. Changes will take effect on the date posted online. Our Terms and Conditions will apply to all transactions on this website and are intended to comply with the Consumer Rights Act. They do not affect your statutory rights.
1) Ways to order
You can order online at www.eos-magazine.com, or telephone 01869 331741 (office hours 9am-5pm, Monday-Friday). You can also send orders via post using a paper order form which you may have received from us in the post, at an event or from a business parter. Cheques should be made payable to Robert Scott Publishing Limited.
If you have a query regarding an existing order please telephone on 01869 331741 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
All prices shown are VAT inclusive at the current rate of 20% (where applicable). If you live outside of the EC, or live in the Channel Islands, we can supply to you at VAT exclusive prices. Please telephone our order department with your order details. You can still order online, and contact us after to complete your transaction. We will then adjust the prices when processing your order.
If you live in the EC but have a valid VAT registration number, we can deduct VAT from your order total (excluding delivery charges) once your number has been supplied to us and verified.
After submitting your order our system will respond with an automated email to the address given during the ordering process. This email is an acknowledgement of your online order, and does not constitute acceptance of your order.
2) Delivery terms
For print subscriptions to EOS magazine being sent to a UK address, delivery charges are included in the annual subscription fee. For international subscriptions, an additional fee is payable.
Delivery is made by Royal Mail within the UK and typically takes 3-5 working days. Where you ask that we delay sending the first issue of a subscription (for gift subscriptions, for example), the delivery timescale will be extended and cannot be promised for an exact date.
We reserve the right not to fulfil overseas orders. This will be the case if we feel that the address given is not secure (in the instance of a PO Box address) or we have experienced difficulties with previous orders to that particular destination. We may also request that funds are paid via an alternative method, such as UK-drawn sterling cheque. We will contact you if this is applicable to your order.
For new subscriptions: if you find that EOS magazine does not offer the advice and information you need, let us know within 28 days of receiving your first issue and we will refund your subscription fee in full (there is no need to return the magazine). If you have received a bonus item as part of your subscription offer (excluding back issues), this item must be returned to us before a refund is payable.
If you are partway through a year's subscription, you can cancel at any time and receive a partial refund for the remaining period of your subscription. This will be calculated as a percentage of the issues that are still owed to you (four issues =100%; three issues = 75%, two issues = 50%, one issue = 25%).
4) Card payments
Payments are taken at the time of ordering. The name ‘EOS magazine’ will appear on your card statement.
We accept payments via Visa, Visa Debit, Visa Electron, Mastercard and Amex. Payments are taken in pounds sterling, and will be converted by your card issuer at prevailing exchange rates.
Card payment details are collected via an SSL secure server, operated by Mal’s E-commerce Ltd., and uses high-grade 256-bit encryption. Click on the padlock at the checkout to view the current security certificate.
