News and other items

We need news and general interest items involving EOS cameras and photographers, even if these do not warrant a full feature. For example, a reader submitted an article on how he went about self-publishing a book of his EOS images.

We are also keen to find short human interest stories. For example, we ran a story about a teenager who photographed a barn fire with the first film in his new camera and had the picture published in his local paper.

Unusual subjects
We also want to hear from photographers who have tackled interesting or unusual subjects. For example, we have featured an article about taking pictures with an EOS camera while sky diving.

Reviews and developments
From time to time, EOS magazine publishes articles looking at equipment and the development of photography. For example, we have run a feature comparing a 20-year-old Canon SLR with one of the latest EOS models. Providing an article is EOS-based, accurate, authoritative and interesting, we will consider it.

We recommend that you contact EOS magazine before you start work on a feature. We may already be working on a feature with similar content, or we may feel that your idea is not suitable for EOS magazine at the moment. Send an e-mail with an outline of your proposal to our Editorial Department.
