Demo day at Southampton
EOS Magazine will be attending the Canon in-store demo day on Saturday 2
December 2006 at The London Camera Exchange PRO Centre on Civic Centre
Road, Southampton. The event runs from 9am to 5.30pm.
There will be an opportunity to meet the experts from Canon for in-depth
demonstrations and answers to your queries on the latest EOS products.
There will also be a huge line-up of DSLRs, lenses, Speedlites and
accessories from the EOS system, with special offers and part-exchange
deals.
Available on the day is a free EOS sensor clean by a Canon technician.
Also in attendance will be Bodoni Gretag providing full demonstrations
of Spyder, printer and monitor colour printing systems. Special prices
will be on offer.
Apple system upgrades for EOS 400D
Apple's latest operating system - Mac OS X Tiger - provides support for
a variety of popular digital camera and image file formats. Applications
such as Aperture, iPhoto and Preview utilize this support to work with
digital camera RAW files.
The latest Digital Camera RAW Support update adds support for the EOS
400D.

Wildlife workshops
David Newton, Technical Editor of EOS Magazine, and Andy Rouse,
international award-winning wildlife photographer, have joined forces to
provide photographic workshops next year.
Andy Rouse, one of the best known wildlife photographer in the world,
has asked David to run courses with him next year since Andy's schedule
is so busy with foreign trips. So far they have announced seven dates,
five at the Cotswold Falconry Centre next to the stunning Batsford
Arboretum nestled in the Cotswolds, and two at the British Wildlife
Centre in Surrey. They are expected to sell out quickly so sign up soon
to be sure of a place.

The 'Cash In With Canon' Mail-In-Rebate Program returns from 15 October
2006 to 13 January 2007, providing consumers and professionals in the
