The EF 80-200mm f2.8L lens is the first large-aperture telephoto zoom lens in the EF series, providing a constant F-number during zooming which covers the most widely-used telephoto focal lengths.

The optical system uses 16 elements in 13 groups, including 3 UD glass elements to attain high image quality and compensate for chromatic aberrations (secondary spectrum). A rear focusing system enables high speed, high precision AF control while providing a large maximum aperture.

The tripod mount is quiet and manual focusing features a smooth ‘feel’. Dimensions are 84 x 185.7mm with a weight of 1330g and minimum aperture is f32.
