This microphone sits neatly in the hotshoe of the EOS 5D Mark II and connects to the microphone socket in the side of the camera. Choose between two sensitivity modes (high and low) for full stereo recording. The microphone points forward, and picks up less noise from the camera dials than the built-in microphone. The microphone comes with an integral windshield to guard against wind noise, and has a black finish to match the camera body. Supplied with an SR-44 cell battery. (See page 35 for more information.)
