Wireless File Transmitter WFT-E1

Enables the camera to transfer images to an FTP server via wireless or wired LAN (local area network). Images can be transmitted as they are taken, or selected and transmitted later. Sports photographers, for example, can send images to their picture desks or agencies with the minimum of delay, or clients can watch the progress of a fashion shoot without leaving their offices. The wireless network can be set up by the photographer, or may be provided by organisers of large events.

Compatible with EOS 1D Mark II, 1Ds Mark II, EOS 5D, 20D. Use with 5D may require Firmware upgrade to unit and/or camera.
